W. Darling

Hayley Gene Penner (formerly known as W. Darling) is a singer-songwriter born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She grew up sharing the stage with her father; iconic Canadian family entertainer Fred Penner.

Penner spent her first four years in LA in a sort of songwriting bootcamp. Learning the ins and outs of the industry and yes, sleeping in a closet in a house with seven men. As is the case with many new-to-LA artists, Penner got swallowed up in the industry and spent the last two years redefining what it means to be authentic.
