With more than 100 records to his name, Tejano accordion player Tony De La Rosa is regarded as the king of the conjunto sound. Inducted into the Tejano Conjunto Hall of Fame in 1992 and the recipient of an NEA National Heritage Fellowship Award, he will always be remembered for his dance invention -- the tacuachito (possum).
