Starkicker was a pop band in the mid-1990s based out of Niagara Falls, Ontario, founded by brothers Ben Dunk and Nick Dunk, along with Doug Boudreau.
The band released a single album, 1996's "Beach Music," which picked up a Juno Award for "Best Canadian Newcomer."
The band would later add a guitarist and in the process change their name to "Dunk." Ben commented that "It was a change of direction, nothing drastically, but enough that we felt it was a different band dynamic."
