Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury

Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury, daughter of Shyamol Acharyya Chowdhury and Uma Acharyya Chowdhury was classically trained under the tutelage of Pt. Biresh Roy at the tender age of nine. She continued her quest for learning North Indian Classical Music for over 15 years since. She is affluent with most forms and genres of music today.

Whether Classical, Western, Pop, Rabindrasangeet, she has performed in diverse genres of music. Somlata has now carved quite a niche for herself in the music fraternity
