Serdar Somuncu was born on 3 June 1968 in Istanbul and is a Turkish-German performer and director. He studied music, acting and theatrical direction in Maastricht. He was first noted with his long lasting tour called 'Nachlass eines Massenmörders' in which he play-read his own interpretation of selected passages from the book 'Mein Kampf' (German for 'My battle') by Adolf Hitler.
