Samson En Gert
Samson (a dog) and Gert (a fellow wearing a red shirt) are a popular Belgian TV series for children. The TV show is produced by Studio 100. The show started in 1990 and is continued up to present (2011).
The two main characters live all kinds of adventures, generally based on all kinds of misunderstandings. Most of the adventures involve Albert Vermeersch (a fat hairdresser and wannabe Opera singer), the mayor (Mr de Burgemeester), Mrs De Bolle (owner of a groceries' and president of the local arts and crafts club)
