The Pulsars, headed by brothers David and Harry Trumfio, were formed in Chicago in the mid 90s. Their music combined elements of indie rock and 80s synth pop with cathcy hooks and sing-along melodies.
They released several eps & singles, but only one full studio album. Sadly, when finishing up their second album, which is said to have cost about $ 200 000, their record label Almo Sounds went down, leaving "LP 2" unreleased.
In 2007 the Trumfio brothers reunited and started to work on the Pulsars again
