Guaco
Famous band from Venezuela that plays Gaitas Zulianas, formed in Maracaibo, Zulia in 1960, was originally touted as a rebel band against the traditional way of playing Gaitas, and later became a landmark of the genre.
Legendary salsa group started playing traditional folklore in the 1960s, later turning to tropical style. As the band was getting involved in the local scene, a growing number of followers made them one of the most popular acts all over the country.
