Marcia Ball (Orange, 20 de março de 1949) é uma cantora e pianista norte-americana nascida em Orange, Texas, mas que cresceu em Vinton, Louisiana. Esta mesma região gerou outros grandes nomes do blues americano, incluindo Clifton Chenier, Janis Joplin, Lonnie Brooks, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, e Kenny Neal.
Nascida em uma família musical, Ball começou a tocar piano aos 5 anos de idade, e mostrou um interesse inicial em tocar piano estilo Nova Orleans
