Judy Bridgewater is a fictional singer within the 2005 novel Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. Bridgewater's song "Never Let Me Go" becomes a source of fixation for the main character Kathy H. and the song is featured in the 2010 film based on the same novel.
According to author Ishiguro, he imagined Bridgewater to be a torch singer of the 1950's, like Julie London. "Never Let Me Go" is actually sung by Jane Monheit and was written by Luther Dixon. The actress Rae Baker plays Bridgewater on the cassette tape.
