Irena Jarocka

Irena Jarocka (1946 – 2012), was a popular Polish singer.

Graduated from V Liceum Ogólnoksztalcace im. Stefana Zeromskiego and the faculty of music studies at Srednia Szkola Muzyczna in Gdansk under professor Halina Mickiewiczówna. Following that, she also graduated from the faculty of biology in teachers’ college. She participated in amateur singing competitions, worked with Zespól Estradowy Marynarki Wojennej Flotylla. Debuted in 1966 at the age of 20
