The Euclid Beach Band consisted of lead vocalists Richard Reising & Pete Hewlett. In 1978, they released "There's No Surf In Cleveland", which was both a tribute to & a parody of the Beach Boys. Even though it wasn't a hit nationally, it was a very popular regional hit in the Cleveland, OH area. Reising & Hewlett, along with various studio musicians, released their debut album in 1979, with Eric Carmen as producer. The album was out of print until 2002 when Epic Records International in Japan, re-released it as a CD.
