Boh Foi Toch was formed in 1989 by Hans Keuper and Jan Manschot. Their music is based on Cajun and Zydeco, and sung in the Low Saxon dialect, spoken in the Achterhoek region of the Netherlands. The name Boh Foi Toch can loosely be translated as "Well, I never".
