De Gentse rockgroep BiezeBaaze ("schommel" in het Nederlands) brengt "StropRock" van de bovenste plank. De teksten in het Algemeen Beschaafd Gents zijn observaties uit het dagelijks leven en de vaak pikant/spittante woordkeuze is niet toevallig. Een gemiddelde "Strop" of Gentenaar is immers recht voor de raap. En dat hoor je ook bij BiezeBaaze. Het repertoire van BiezeBaaze moet het niet hebben van ingewikkelde jazz-progressies of symfonische arrangementen.
