Barroco Andino is a Chilean group started in 1974 that plays a fusion of sounds between classical European music and Andean instruments and styles. They, for example, play themes from J.S. Bach or Vivaldi using instruments such as quena or charango.
This mix create a unique style that can be appreciated in discs such "La quena bien temperada" (a play of words from Bach's The well tempered clavier with the already mentioned Quena instrument.
The group is still active and often does live presentations in Chile and other countries.
