Asim came into limelight in January of 2013 when he uploaded a video of the song ‘Whistle, Punjabi Remix’ on YouTube. Asim covered the single ‘A Team’ of Ed Sheeran for which he gained huge popularity. Ed himself praised this song on twitter.
